Bombay High Court Law Clark Recruitment 2025: The Bombay High Court accepts applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the preparation of Select Lists for candidates to be appointed on a contractual basis as ‘Law clerk’ for one year after the date of appointment at the positions Principal Seat in Bombay and Bench at Nagpur and Bench at Aurangabad . According to the Bombay High Court 2025 Recruitment official announcement, there are 64 vacancies to be filled. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and not older than 30 on the day of application.

According to the official announcement for Bombay High Court recruitment 2025, Law Clerks selected for this recruitment will receive a monthly total of Rs 65,000 as Stipend/Honorarium or another amount determined by government, this position does not qualify them for any other allowances and should not be treated as regular employees at Bombay High Court.

Age Limit

Candidates to be called eligible must possess an age not below 21 years of age or more than 30 years of age, on the date of application.

According to the official announcement of the Bombay High Court recruitment 2025, all eligible candidates who have been recommended by their respective Principals at the Law Colleges where they obtained the L.L.B./L.LM. The Presidents or Directors of Bar Associations listed above must appear at the High Court in Bombay for an interview on their own expense at the time and date to be announced.

• The interview will determine the selection of candidates.

• The selection committee will conduct the interview.

• Candidates will receive marks out of 50. The minimum mark is 25, and there are no exceptions.

• The Hon’ble Chief justice will have to approve the list of candidates.

Tenure for Bombay High Court 2025 Recruitment

The appointment period will last for one year. Any Law Clerk can be terminated before the end of one year. The Judge can terminate the service of a Law Clerk at any time before the end of the year in which case the appointment shall be terminated forthwith.

The tenure can be extended for an additional maximum of one year if the Honorable Judge to whom the person is attached recommends it, and the Chief Justice approves.
